The Food Allergy Fund is expanding in several ways. An incredibly generous anonymous donor is offering a $50,000 match for our intrepid supporter and food allergy parent’s participation in the Race Across America (RAAM). We are calling this event Miles for Miles. RAAM is literally the world’s longest endurance event. RAAM racers have 12 days to ride roughly 3,000 miles from San Diego, California, to Annapolis, Maryland, with nothing but a bike and support team in a camper. To be clear, they race, across 12 states, and climb over 170,000 vertical feet. Mike will be participating as part of a 4-person relay team.
Who would be willing to put themselves through such a seemingly insurmountable challenge? A Food Allergy Parent of course! What wouldn’t we all do to cure our children’s food allergies? Stay tuned for ways to follow our intrepid racer, FAF supporter and parent to his son, Miles, on social media. As always, participants in this fundraiser can be assured 100% of money raised will go to funding food allergy research towards a cure.
